Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of The Fieldhouse, a service operated by Metahuman Network LLC (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

Accounts on The Fieldhouse are for adults aged 18 or older. Children under 13 do not create their own accounts; parents and legal guardians manage their children’s profiles. See our COPPA & consent page for details.

2. Your account

• You’re responsible for the activity under your account, including any organizations or teams you create.
• Keep your password secure. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• Provide accurate information at signup, and keep it current.

3. What you can do with the service

You may use The Fieldhouse to organize and view sports schedules, roster players, mark RSVPs, run team branding, and accept paid sponsorships under the rules in our Sponsor Guidelines (provided to organizations on paid plans).

You may not:

• Use the service to harass, harm, or impersonate any person.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property or violates the law.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service or attempt to bypass security controls.
• Scrape or bulk-download data, including from team calendar feeds, beyond reasonable personal calendar use.
• Resell or sublicense the service.

4. Free vs paid plans

• The free plan (“Local Team”) is for a single team and is, currently, free of charge.
• Paid plans (currently Club $12/month and School $99/month) are billed by Stripe on a recurring basis. You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not pro-rate refunds.
• Sponsorship listings are sold separately to advertising sponsors at the prices shown on our pricing page; sponsor placements require team admin approval before going live.
• Parents, players, and students never pay to use The Fieldhouse.

5. Content you upload

You retain ownership of the team logos, photos, names, and other content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, transcode, and distribute that content as needed to operate the service for you.

You represent that you have the right to upload the content and to grant the license above. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. The Privacy Policy is part of these Terms.

7. Suspension & termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice. On termination, your right to use the service ends; data retention is described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Metahuman Network nor its officers, employees, or affiliates will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.

10. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we’ll notify account owners by email and update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.
